THE RAPID SPREAD OF COVID-19

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) is making headlines across our nation and the world as a whole.  The administration of CITY OF LIGHTS is monitoring the potential risks that this virus poses to our community, our clients, and our staff.

We are proactively and cautiously following the CDC recommendations as we strategically endeavor to meet the critical needs for food, clothing, and shelter.

City of Lights will continue to offer the following services.

  • Residential Women’s Drug & Alcohol Recovery Program

  • Distribution of diapers, baby wipes to needy families in our community

  • Taking care of urgent needs of the children in our afterschool program

As a precautionary measure, we are restricting access for all non-essential visitors and volunteers.

We will re-evaluate these restrictions daily and will keep the public abreast of any pertinent changes to our availability.

While we all adjust to this pandemic, we solicit your prayers as we continue to serve Christ in the community. We ask that God strengthens us as we continue to be a beacon of light and hope to those individuals facing crisis and uncertainty in our local community.
